I feel old.

When I was 14 I was playing the newly released 1942 and the concept of making an arcade machine would have just been stupid talk.  ;D

If you're under 14 this is exactly the type of internet discussion your teachers and parents are telling you to avoid.

If this guy already sent you a picture of is 'cabinet' do not under any circumstance look at it.  The image will scare you for life.

I was 14 in 1987.  What a time... the Golden age of the Arcades and the birth of home consoles.

As far as I know, PONG was officially released in November 1972, which means you came first.

That'd be SWEET!

One improvement I can see - for the "P" in pong, make the line separate, and have the "ball" complete the shape to create the "P".  Kinda like so:

Older than |oong

Allright, I'll start printing them, but in order to make it worth my time to get off my Phat, lazy, greedy American --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules--, I'll be selling them for $25 plus shipping, and I don't know how much for "handling", and they'll come in whatever color you want, as long as it's white.

 ;D

Stingray, in your case, I'll accept trades - TWO shirts for your Mini, the title, and the keys.....ah, crap, it's Christmas, I'm feeling nice, I'll give you THREE shirts  ;)

I was 14 in 1980. That was around the time when classics like Centipede, Defender, Tempest, Berzerk and all the *BEST* arcade games were released. I remember many a late night missing the last bus home due to my arcade *addiction*.
Vids:  Home built MAME machine, Crystal Castles. Arkanoid
Pins:   Williams Aztec (working). Stern Nugent (not working...yet), Williams Phoenix (major not working, missing parts.... )

Always on the lookout for buying 90's game with Ramps that need work...

lol stingray, dipping in the eggnog early eh??  I was gonna do a quick logo for my idea of the older than pong. Drew i like that idea u stated above. I stink in photoshop but ill give it a go. And seeing as I was born in January, I was also thinking of putting a "Est. in 1971" or something on the front or on the sleeve, and putting the "Older than Pong" on the back.

THAT would be sweet!  That's how you'd personalize the shirts, with the year you were born in!  I think on the front should be the "Older than Pong", and on the sleeve or across the back should be the "Est. in 19xx".

Crap, I may end up doing this anyway.....I'll have to raise prices to stave off actual work!

I'll whip up a quick pic

i didnt quite get the | o  you referred to earlier Drew, but here is my doings. I cant seem to enlarge it, even set antialias at 4x. Perhaps someone can enlarge it without quality loss. I was looking at something like 8" width x 3" Height for going across the back.
