ZSNES Rom Loading question
« on: December 05, 2004, 11:55:07 am »
I looked but didn't find a tread for this one.  If anyone knows a thread I'd appreciate it, or some advise.

I've got the newest version of ZSNES, and Installed the newest version of DirectX.  I can get ZSNES to load up.
I've downloaded a couple roms, which I can see in the directory load screen.  I can't seem to get ZSNES to load up any of the games however.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Can you expand a little more on what happens when you try to load a ROM?  Does the emulator crash, or just give you a blank screen?

If you're getting a blank screen, try putting zsnes in windowed mode instead of fullscreen.  There may be issues with the video mode you are choosing.

Also zsnes has a known bug where if you change video options/resolutions it will often not emulate video properly.  I know the bug still exists in the latest linux version when changing SDL+OpenGL modes too often.  Dunno if that's the same problem you're facing.

Out of curiosity, what video card are you using?
