Printing

I have designed some art useing photoshop and was wondering if i took it to a printers (Kinko's) would they be able to make it the size i want it (big) without it becomeing desstored. The images are from a spawn comic that i scaned in so there not vector.

It depends on how much you want them to scale it up. If it is a 10% scale, and you scanned your images at greater than 200 dpi, it shouldn't be an issue. If you scanned them at 72 dpi, and you need them to quadruple the size, it's going to look like total garbage. They don't have any magic non-destortion tools.  Give us the specs of your files, and I can probably give you more details.

Also, good luck with Kinko's getting it right... I have zero faith in them. The only thing good I can say about Kinko's is that they have deep pockets and might give you something free if they screw up. But that's just one man's opinion.

Is that it "at size?" or is the actual size much larger?

its a lot bigger the board scaled it down

Ah, ok. I opened it up in a new window. If you ask them to scale it up, it will look like the image below. I doubt any of them will take the initiative to clean up this file for you. Even with specific instructions, I would doubt they could make this happen right for you.

My advice? Create a file at size, at 250 to 300 dpi. Rescan your image, and add it to the file. Give the file to kinko's at the correct size and your results will be much better.
