Nintendo DS backward compatability
« on: December 02, 2004, 08:36:24 pm »
Anyone here have a DS and test out the backward compatability yet?  I'm wondering which screen you use for GBA games and what, if anything, is displayed on the other one.
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

I was wondering also about previous GB games.... would those work with the DS  like they do with the GBA?
I Haven't Lost My Mind, It's Backed Up On Disk Somewhere.

You can play GBA games on the DS on either the top or bottom screen.

You can't play Game Boy Color or original games or use any GBA accessories.

however there are emulators that run GB and GBC games on the GBA.  If you ahve a flash card, you can play them this way.
