Help with Lazarus - Daphne and pinball.
« on: September 29, 2002, 04:37:25 pm »
I got the dat for daphne and put it into the corect dir, and I also made a dahphne.cfg file. I ran the list generator and still nothing in the daphne menu. Also in the neogeo menu there is only older games, no King of fighers or other newer games listed. And also the same problem in the pinball menu. There is only a handfull of games listed.

Anyone have some suggestions?
Great big gobs of greasy grimey gopher guts.

If games are missing then you...

#1 have the wrong rom path set or have left some out

#2 some of your roms don't match the names given in the dat file.

#3 Your search strings are flawed.

As for daphne.... Since daphne's roms are unzipped, it becomes very hard for the tracking of roms.  What I do is use the frame files.  I name the framefiles to match the name of the roms and change the file extension in the daphne.cfg to .txt so that the front-end will search for textfiles.  Also note that visual pinball needs to have a .vpt extension.
