Adobe Photoshop Patterns
« on: December 01, 2004, 10:38:19 am »
Anyone know where to get some of these, for free?

More Specifically, I need a diamond plate pattern for a CPO I'm working on.  Does anyone have one??

I'm doing some diamond plate stuff as well. I used the bottom picture from http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/eyecandy/l/blec5tdiamondp.htm. Its perfectly tiled so you can just duplicate it as many times as you need.

If you want something a bit more customizable you might want to see if you can get a copy of eye candy.

No probs. We'll have to compare notes when we're finished :)

Have you seen these CPOs? Too big for what I want but might be useful to you.

Actually, seeing those is what made think of the diamond plate, lol.  I want to make my own, also, my cp is 36 in. wide, and those CPO's are 35 in. wide.   :P

I just downloaded the demo of the Eye Candy 5 textures add-on... man is it sweet!  :)  I wish I had the money to buy a copy.  Maybe Santa will be nice to me.

Here's what I'm kicking around with right now.  It's a modification of one of my previous designs.

:edit: hmm...  the board auto-resized my image.

I liked your CPO better without the diamond plate pattern.  It just seems too cluttered now with that.  If you really want diamond plate on your cab what about putting a sheet of real diamond plate on the base of it under a coin door or something as a kick plate.  I think that's what I'm going to do.  But... Do what ya like! ;D

ya much better...

One thing is that the Characters that you have gray scaled are about the same color as the D. Plate.

You might want to look into changing the contrast or something if your going to keep them Grayed out like that.

Just a thought

Yeah...  I can't decide if I want to convert the characters back to color, or to just change the shade a bit so that they stand out from the diamond plate, or if I want to change the color of the diamond plate, lol...
