MAME 32 v .79 Loading Rom Problem
« on: December 01, 2004, 10:10:54 am »
I am a newbie and this maybe a dumb question.

I loaded Mame 32 v.79 from Arcade Book I purchased. It loaded fine. I am running windows 95.

The front end comes up OK with all the game titles.(But no ROMs loaded)

I have some ROMs on my computer but how do I get them loaded?
They are currently zipped.

Do I unzip then Load into which location?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Put the zipped romsets into a subdirectory called 'roms' under your Mame folder.

And please, post software questions in the software forum.

I tried this but no luck.

MAME 32 v.79 has a subdirectory "ROM"created. I placed the zipped
files in there.

I tried just a few games. Frogger and MsPacman. These games do no load.

When I try running the game it said files are missing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
