MacMAME--way to load ROM on launch?

Is there a way to have MacMAME load a ROM automatically when it's launched? I have the progam set to load on startup, but I'd like to have it go right into a game without having to monkey with it each time. I thought I'd seen something somewhere mentioning how to do it, but now I can't figure it out.
Thanks.

You can set a rom's (the zip file's) creator type to a macmame rom file, and load it on startup instead of MacMAME. When you escape, though, it will take you back to the MacMAME interface... basically no way to have a 3rd party front end
