CGA vision pro, arcade vga, mame32 NO PICTURE!
« on: November 30, 2004, 01:57:44 am »
I can't imagine what I'm doing wrong.

I configured the arcade vga as outlined by ultimarc.

(It works fine with my d9200)

But no matter what I do I can't get anything but rolling gray/black on my arcadeshop 19" CGA visionpro.

Help!

Sounds to me like a sync issue.  Read the documentation on the ArcadeVGA to find out if it supplies negative or positive sync and make sure the monitor is set for the right one.  Also try adjusting any hold pots on the monitor.  I believe the Vision Pro uses composite sync, so make sure you have the H and V synd leads connected together.

The monitor PCB is labeled (COMPO) under the HS input.. I tried combining the HS and VS signal from the A-VGA card into the HS input on the monitor, but no luck..
