Looking for ideas: Arcade/Computer Desk
« on: November 29, 2004, 12:02:44 pm »

I want to move the computer to the gameroom in our house but I want to "hide" it as an arcade cabinet when not in use.

I'm thinking something in a standard arcade cabinet  probably Pacman or Galaga style where the front flips over to the side and has a keyboard/mouse tray slide out at desk height.  I'm trying to figure out is adjusting the monitor height back and forth and the best way to have it open.  Or on the other hand I guess I could make it a sit down arcade and have the monitor at a good height to begin with...

Anyway has anyone done this/considered doing this themselves?  Any ideas?

Thanks!
