Dual Lightguns, XP, D9200, PC USB Guns
« on: November 24, 2004, 11:18:25 pm »
I'm trying to get 2 actlabs USB light guns working with mame under xp.
I've got the troubleshooter installed and both guns work great on House of the dead 2, but mame see the triggers as the same input.
I've tried mameanalog, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right as there is NO DOCUMENTATION! included.. (Just a blurb on the website of the options)

I've got 4 active mouse devices on my system. (I've actually have 5 but one is disabled under device manager on purpose)

Mouse 1                             Happs 2.5" with Happs PS/2 Interface.
Mouse 2                              (Disabled mouse interface on Minipac) (USB)
Mouse 3                              Lightgun 1 (USB)
Mouse 4                              Lightgun 2 (USB)
Mouse 5                              SlikStik Tornado (USB)

Update- I removed all mouse devices except the light guns, and still the same results.

System is an Intel D865GLC motherboard, using only the built in usb ports, no hubs or addon cards.
Video is a AVGA 7000 series.
Monitor is a WG D9200 27"
Operating system is XP PRO SP2.

I'll try any version of mame to get it to work, the gun games are getting a seperate menu in mamewah.

Thanks for looking.

Later,

I helped someone recently work through his issues.  I remember spending many hours trying to get them running initiailly.  Here is an excerpt from my email.  I have dual Actlabs PC lightguns (USB version) running on mine...
