Big weekend plans no more
« on: November 23, 2004, 12:44:11 pm »
well, I had planned to spend some time working on my upright this 4-day Thanksgiving weekend only to be told by my wife that insted of having Thanksgiving at our house (where my cab is) we will be doing something different and going to my sisters to spend the day and eat   :(

Then I was told that Friday I will be cleaning out the utillity building and getting the tree, decorations and lights up    :-\

Then she proceeded to tell me how we were going to spend Saturday and Sunday hunting Christmas presents for everybody  :'(

So it looks like I will have no time to work on my upright this weekend  >:(

How is everyone else spending The big weekend?

I'm going to demand some projects time.  I can't call it cab time, because I've got too darn many of them.

I'll be programming my frontend for my cab, so project-related activities, yes.

I have to go away for the holiday itself, but the rest of the time I'll be working on getting my 50" monitor working with the aVGA I just picked up, and if I get that working, getting mame/etc on the target box.

That game rules, I play through it once a month or so to keep the skills up.  ;D

i just finally found time to rewire my pop'n music CP, since it was previously ghetto rigged together just so i could play for a week till i bought wood.... but it stayed like that for 6 months lol. I finally built the CP for it and hooked it all up, now i need a keyboard stand for it =p

then of course my MAME cab needs cosmetic stuff, like a bezel, painting and side art.... ah the list never ends

What I need to do:  Cut out three wall mounted jukeboxes and begin assembling them.   :-\

What I am going to do:  Deep fry a turkey and watch my Aggies play those tea-sippers over in Austin!   8)
