Help with Glaunch
« on: November 21, 2004, 10:01:56 am »
Hello. I have a couple problems with GLaunch. First, I cannot for the life of me get the full rom names to be displayed. I have configured mamescan but nothing works. Secondly, the screen is off center and so is the screen when I launch the games through mame.

Thanks for your time,

Drew

Dont use mame scan - Ive found it to not be the best thing to use.
Try this: http://tomspeirs.com/gamelauncher/

Hope this helps

Thanks for replying. I have one problem when running the program. When I click "go" I get a pop up that says "Class not registered".

Thanks,
Drew

P.S. I like your signature kind of thing about religious war.:)

Yeah, I had this prob too - sorry I didnt mention it. I emailed Tom about it, he suggested to leave out the catver.ini file, and it worked fine.

Thanks for the compliment on my signature. I always try to look on the bright side of life

Hi.
I deleted the path to the catver.ini file and unchecked the "on" box but it still says "Class not registered"

Thanks,
Drew

P.S. I'm using the first edition of Windows 98, Does that have anything to do with this?
