mamewah generating filtered lists
« on: November 18, 2004, 08:48:21 pm »
Hello All,
I apologize for the basic question, but I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out why mamewah isn't showing me the generate game list menu item.  I'm using the latest version of mamewah with mame .68.  I have the list gen method as rom_folder_vs_listinfo, and I have catver.ini located in the same directory as my mame executable.

It's in Games List Options.  If you want to make a filtered list, you need to select a games list (not the main one) first - this means you need another ini file, eg mame-1.ini (mame-0.ini being the 'main' list).

I have created several game lists.  I have the most played and longest played lists working.  I have created another list "mame-3.ini" and I'm trying to work with that.
