Arcade VGA and WG 257191

I put the AVGA in my comp and booted up with the monitor wired through a vidamp and all i get is a black screen, I tried tweaking some of the pots to get it to look right but couldnm't get anything, what could the prob be?

I don't think the 7191 requires a video amp.

I have the same monitor it works fine without a video amp.Do a search for the monitor and you will find a ton of info on this board.
