One neat feature of Illustrator is that it's native image format (at least for later versions) is in fact PDF - as long as the .ai file has been saved with PDF compatibility turned on you should be able to open it in Adobe Acrobat (even the free Acrobat reader).

So if you just want to look at or print an .ai file, while retaining the small filesize and scalable nature of vector artwork, just rename it to .pdf...

If you want it as a raster graphic, you can rasterize it at whatever size you like in Photoshop without actually needing Illustrator.

I've got Xmen COTA... big 33" cab... the sideart is non existant on mine... the marquee is printed on legal paper and chopped to a narrow height.... (its the way I got it... )

BUT... I do have the instruction cards for them... good shape... its 2 long cards... control instructions for each character... and then 2 others that explain basic/generic controls... and am more than willing to share.

I brought this up a short time ago, and my hard drive crashed with the HQ scans on them... never had a chance to redo and share.  if you want them, lemme know... I'll post them someplace (AAL more than likely) or email if you'd like.

Files over 7 mb sometimes have a hard time getting upped via the web to the library, so if they are bigger, I can give you an FTP address, and then manually move them over later.

I'm gonna be away for Thanksgiving, so PM me if you need this info, and I'll respond when I get back.

COTA sideart is easy to find NOS. I think I paid $7 for my set. Look around a bit and you will find the real deal. I think I paid $10 for my COTA marquee.

Paige is correct.

I paid 12 bucks for my COTA side art on eBay.

When you search for Marvel art do not use NOS in your search term. NOS is short for "numbers" (as well as New Old Stock) and you will end up with a bajillion hits that are comic book issues.

Here are some Marvel sideart panels to check out:
