Chip Away
« on: November 10, 2004, 04:44:55 pm »
Searched 'chip away' on the forum & net, but came up with nothing useful.

Anyone have any info on this game?  I know the following: (1) its still in the local arcades; (2)  its a fun redemption game where you win tickets;  (3) manufactured by Prize Games (I think); and most importantly, (4) its about the only game my wife will play:(

Anyhow, it used to be a playable flash game through websites, but I haven't found any sites that allow this game to be played anymore.   Does anyone know if its possible to get this on my newly-built arcade cabinet?

thx,

tum

It's real hard to find, but here is a link:
http://www.best-software-download.com/z-prizegames-unplugged-puzzle-pack-volume-1.htm

It's in a pack of four games called "prizegames unplugged puzzle pack volume 1"

It used to be sold from PopCap or someone like that.

It's one of my wifes favorites too...

Good luck
Bob

I like that game, I like the cabinets I see them in too. Although I think it is funny that I see all of them with trackballs, when it is very much a spinner game.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

bobbyG66 - actually clicking on the link to purchase the game informs me that the site no longer has the game available for purchase or download.  indeed, it is very difficult to find information about the game.  anyone else have any information?

well, i think Ted Keenan, from tommygames.com may hold some answers.  I think he may have designed the game.  Good luck finding his e-mail address though.  I've sent out a bunch of e-mails to see if anyone has any answers.
