Yeah, that is because there was always a surplus of Chevy engines around since the REST of the cars would fall apart quickly! My Ford has 270,000 miles on it.

I just felt like mentioning that my Chevy has 284,000 miles on it and I still use it as a work truck, and its still going strong. Thats with the original engine and trans, if you were wondering. It's about how you care for a car that keeps it going. Chevys and Fords both break if they aren't cared for and both last if they are.
