Kymaera Help

Ok, I really like the look and feel of this frontend-simple, non-windows looking. There are a few things that I am having a hard time with though.

1. Is there an easy way to get rid of clones-I hate them and they slow things down so much.

2. I have a Hot Rod, but I can't seem to get the controls to work. I have tried using the input config thing, but I don't seem to be having any luck.

Any help would be great!

Well, let's see,

1) There is no easy way to do this in Kymaera. You might have to use a utility like "Sortinfo" first.

2) Does your Hot Rod simulate a keyboard? Or does it send Joystick information? The joystick driver is currently disabled in Kymaera, It'll be re-enabled with the releasing I'm making this week.

  PMF, what if you added a 'parent' column in the game category list creator?

  Then you could just sort by that column and if it were empty then it's not a clone!

That's the first thing I thought of, I checked to see if I already had a "cloneof" field. It should be easy enough to add, I'm just hesitant to add more and more info to the gamelist xml files, I think they're too big already. I'll consider it.

Please consider it. I hate the clones. It adds so much extra crap to scroll through, etc. Othe rthan that, I love it !
