change position of Message box in mamewah?
« on: November 08, 2004, 10:35:26 am »
Is there a way to change the position ofthe message box element in a MameWah layout?
I'v got one of those layouts that shows a cab and its screen (and a PC monitor forthe PC games) and I wanted the message box to be overlayed on the display area (rather than centered)

Edit: I may have thought of a partial workaround: maybe I can make the message layout to be ful screen and repeat my background picture in it and place the text elements in the right place for the screen. The only issue with this is that it would cause the game list to disappear (or "jump" to whatever canned list would be in the layout picture). No perfect but close if you can't change the positiion of the messages.

There's no way to shift the message form so your work around will have to do for now...

I'll address this when I get round to writing the new layout system...
