BUT, those are the people who get pissed about a shopping cart ding but will gladly break check you if your even 4 feet from their car at a stop light.. i cant count the number of times ive told those people "If you make me hit you, ill try to kill you, ill push the gas and throw you into the intersection into oncomming traffic, think twice next time".. and honestly, they dont do it again, well at least to me that day.. >_<

seriously... people like that make me hate people in general.. as sick as it is, alot of those retards should be shot or just burried alive..

Looking at them with a smirk and repeatedly saying "Are you done?" does 2 things.  

#1, it gets them to stop talking.  

#2 It really irritates the hell out of them and makes them miserable by pointing out that whatever they're saying is a waste of time, and that you're not really listening.

after they stop saying something like "it was an accident, mind your own business" and driving off gets the job done too.


Or you could just threaten their families..

Just remember that people don't mess with you if you're "crazy".  Anytime you get into a verbal arguement in public, just start screaming about how "they" knew you were here and "they" made this happen because "they" have been trying to set you and your family up.  It helps if you flex your chest like you're twitching and, if they can see it, start doing trigger pulls at chest height with your finger towards yourself. People back off real fast.  It's a tried and true method, a soccer mom doesn't stand a chance.

I wouldn't threaten anyone.  To many cell phones around.  You could find yourself in the klink.  Back in the day you used to be able to pull that off, not anymore.  If a cop catches up to you for acting "crazy", there's nothing he can do.  Just stay cool and act normal.  He'll think the other cat is the nut.

mahuti, those are the people you open the door for, look from side to side as if you're checking the area out, and whisper to 'em....you don't think you were followed, do you?  I heard they were wondering who wrote the letters, but I used so many things to throw 'em off my track...cutting the letters out of the (insert name of next town over's newspaper) - they'll never find me!  

Then tell them - come in before someone sees you, I don't know what they'd do, but you never know!

Example 1.
This guy came to my house selling magazines for some terrible youth "cause" and I said no thanks and walked away from my screen door (double edged sword... you can't hide) He kept talking and I said, "no thanks, I'm not interested" he told me... get this... "I'm not a banker, I'm not hear to collect your interest" I thought about pulling him inside the house and stabbing him in "self-defense" (j/k) He was still trying to sell me stuff as I was walking away.  He kept talking for a minute, and left, as I sat back down to my computer and started working again.

Example 2.
My business partner and I walked down the street to get some lunch. We walked back, walked through my yard. There's this stranger sitting on my porch swing talking on his cell phone. I said in as civil tone as I could muster "hey, man, what's up" he glanced up at me, then back down and kept talking. Now I'm mad. I said "HEY CHIEF, what are you doing?" He was getting off his cell phone, I told him to get out. I was unlocking my door and he gets off my porchswing, asks "Is this your house". "YEAH?" I replied as I stamped into the house, and he yelled in at me "do you rent or own" as I was slamming the door. Next thing you know, he does the whold shave-and-a-hair-cut knock on my front door. My business partner and I just burst out laughing. What a jackass.

Like telemarketers, there is NOTHING you can do about solicitors, they've heard and seen it all. Unfortunately, unlike telemarketers... solicitors are close enough for me to punch them. I never have... but the way those guys act, one of these days it might happen. It's not all their fault, when it comes to people interrupting me at my work in my home, I lose all sense of polite tactfulness. Still, no means no. get out solicitor jerks.

My dog takes care of them.  I've had people ask if he's "legal".  Whatever that means.

FWIW: He's a mix breed of Great Dane & American Bulldog.  Black and Gold.  Think of a big pitbull.

Actually, I would have guessed they would be more eager to 'save' your soul.  Only sure fire way to get rid of JW's:  Tell them EXACTLY this:

 "You obviously don't know we've been disfellowshipped".

They will avoid your house like the plague (tried and true method).

I honestly wouldn't spend time letting it get to you.

There are a LOT of people out there that do not feel important, unless they're telling you why you're not. I find giving these people the lack of attention that they deserve irks them MUCH more than anything you could ever say to them.

It makes themfeel REALLY unimportant.

As I understand it, "disfellowshipped" happens when the pack boots you out for some horrible deed.  Like allowing a blood transfusion for a dying child, or some such stuff.  A former JW person told me that trick, and about 7 months after I moved into this house two of them came to the door with their smiles and their wonderful watchtower magazines, and I figured "what the hell" and told them we had been disfellowshipped.  They turned heel without a word and left, and in the 7 years I've lived here we haven't had another one come by.  Not one.  Pretty sweet solution if you ask me.
