I found who is responsible for the election results
« on: November 04, 2004, 12:08:48 am »
-------------------------------
To the "non-voter": It was YOU!  WTF is wrong with you?  It's your future too, maybe you want to be a part of it?

And I know some of you non-voters will read this thread.  You could have strengthened Bush or changed the results.  Yet you sat there and did nothing.  How many hours have you spent on the internet in the past month?  Yet you didn't take the time to participate in your future.  Shame on you...

So you say, "Well I would have voted for "X" and they won in my state anyhow."  So no big deal right?  Well what about the rest of your ballot?  Was there anything on there about local tax increases?  There was on mine.  I voted to support my local school district by increasing my property tax about $100 a year.  It passed 52% to 48%.  I may have increased YOUR taxes.  It's a benefit for me, I have no kids at the school, but my house is close to it.  I will get that money back 10-fold.  You may not.

Interested yet?  I'd hope so.  It's not too late.  There is another election in 2 (two) years for the United States House of Representatives.  2006 I say.  I'm voting, will you?

What else did people get to vote on?

Yeah, I voted just for the local stuff.  For president I voted for the Personal Choice ticket cos it had Marilyn Chambers the porn star on it for Vice President and they only had ballot status in my state (which is ironic since I live in Mormonville).

My wife wrote in Jon Stewart for President.

Anyway, you're wrong about who to blame for this election outcome.  If you want to lay blame look to god.  For obvious reasons god was rooting for Bush and he new he needed Florida so he sent them a hurricane.  But seeing how poor a candidate he was he sent them three more just to be sure.

Actually, since you don't believe in Him, you can't blame the election on something you don't believe in.  That's like blaming Kerry's loss on the tooth fairy.

I could blame Kerry's loss on God, but I believe in Him.  And it wouldn't be "blame", it would be "thanks".   ;D ;D ;D
