Dan Rather makes me sick!
« on: November 03, 2004, 01:44:25 am »
To hear this blowhard continue to spew the line "we don't want to be first, we want to be the most accurate" after he ran with the fraudulent documents about Bush and after he was going to run with the story with no backup - I want to PUKE watching him.

Why am I continuing to do so, you ask?  He's my personal vindication - watching him to hear him say it....as Sam Kinison would scream - SAAAAYYYYY ITTTTTTT!

I do believe he may actually choke on the words.

That's all for my gloating.  Carry on.

Bush won a few hours ago if you just merge the predictions.

Every media outlet has Bush winning either Ohio or Nevada, but neither one will call both of them. Despite the fact that it is numerically impossible for Kerry to win either state.

How is it numerically impossible for Kerry to win Ohio?  There are 250K absentee ballots cast there, and Kerry is only about 150K behind.  I don't think he'll win in the end, but it's not numerically impossible.

It basically is. If memory serves correct absentee ballots tend to always be heavily skewed towards the republicans. For Kerry to win he would have to get 66-70 percent of them. Not very likely, not likely AT ALL.

There's also no telling how many absentee balots will be discarded due to not having legal selections. Ohio isn't Florida there is a state standard / law that states that two corners must be separated. I'm not assuming people in Ohio aren't bright, but if they were genius' they certainly wouldn't be the last state to report the numbers.

OK, numerically nearly impossible. (and quite improbable)

OH is Bush's. Even if 75% of the provisional ballots (now estimated at 170k) go Kerry, he'll still lose.

It was hard to watch Dan Rather last night. I could not believe he was saying most of the things he was saying. I kept thinking what a pompous **s and switching channels. I was pretty impressed by Brockaw whom I normally don't care too much for. Jennings didn't do much for me.

I just heard it announced - Dan Blather will be announcing what candiate won Ohio on Thursday ::)

Ya know, I think the American public was Rather Fonda that bumbling fool they voted for the first time!  I'm thanking GOD that Rather will be retiring before the next election!  It was annoying as all get out to hear him report, but it was fun as hell to see him up to his eyeballs in water, and he's bailing the boat with a teaspoon!

Hey Danny boy, mebbe that pride will go down a bit easier with a little Heinz on it!
