My Kerry sign was stolen this morning.  Again.  Every single one in the neighborhood... gone.

I had a friend get his car keyed and his Bush/Cheney sticker half torn off.

I think your sign being stolen isn't right, but you don't have a problem, as far as I can see, just a "WTF" moment that will pass tomorrow.

How much did you pay for your sign?  If it's ~$500 (the amount of damage to his car) then I'll get behind you.

This kind of crap is happening all over, and by both parties.  It IS terrible, but NO ONE seems to be shocked, I only hear dismay that it's happening.  I'm betting it's due to terrible parenting, but that's just me.

If you're one of the asses doing this (not you, Cooter, this is a generalization) to people's property, I hope they catch you and beat the snot out of you....I don't have a pistol, but if I caught someone stealing my sign, I'd rubber-chicken-whip you.

I waited to put my W'04 magnet on my vehicle until this weekend. I was worried someone might take their frustrations out on my truck, so I waited until the end.

What's funny to me is that the person who stole the signs might be thinking, "If we get rid of all the Kerry signs, then people won't know he's running, and then Bush will win"

Seriously?  In Canada, they knock on your door and ask if they can place a sign on your lawn.

I think they do that here too.

If they don't come to your door, or you weren't home when they did, you can go down to the parties head quarters and ask for one.  At least that's how I got mine.  I wanted a W sticker, but they were out of them.  Which I think is a good sign.

the small ones are free (the 10x14 size, I believe) but the larger you go, they are given as incentives for for donations, so in effect, they are "paid for".

In my town, the bigguns (nods to hulkster's boob fetish) went for ~$100.

Is my second banner broke?  I noticed that at work while swiftvetly checking the board, and that was kinda honkin' me off, as it was funny as hell.

Your second banner hasn't worked for days, if not weeks. You have to be a registered user of that web site to view it I believe (i.e. if your browser doesn't have the cookie then you don't see it).

Ah well, I switched my stuff back.....I dunno if I'm gonna  be able to swing this election in Nerf's direction, so i'm leavin' that until tomorrow....once that first state goes his way, the rest will be like dominoes!

It's actually a conspiratorial conservative site I pay to be a member of, I bet that's why they don't show....kind of a "conspiracy theory" site for the over-humored people amongst us.

This is true.... For those who do not like Bush, just remember, in 4 years, he can't run again.... ;D

That will give the Dem. 4 years to find a REAL candidate.

Obama is VERY charismatic, and even I think he'd have a good chance of winning, either as VP or P candidate, but to hitch his wagon to that old mule is a recipe for disaster, unless she's shooting for VP.

If Kerry gets elected Hitlery could only get in as John's VP, wait 8 years and then run for Pres, but that would take 16 years and the Demacrats would have to win every election.  So Bush's daughters have a better chance of becoming President before Hitlery.

You know what is even lower, the fact we can get political telemarketing phone calls.  those are the only telemarketting calls I get now.  I even get them on my cell.  My cell, while at home, is on roam.  I have to answer the phone because I have to find out if it is a possible job (I got an interview this week, woohoo!).  So their campaigning is costing me more money than my taxes!

HAHAHAHA.
I second that bad parenting thing.  We had people burning the signs in minneapolis.  That still doesn't top car damage though.  That's even lower.

The damage a President can do in "4 years" can take waaaaay longer to fix.  I think Kerry will handle it though heheh.

NO MORE YEARS!   NO MORE YEARS!   NO MORE YEARS!    ;)

I've never had a telemarketer call me twice.  You think I can get nasty with politics, just try calling me at home. ;)  My favorite is when they tell me that I don't have to use that kind of language.  That's when I really unload.  Dudes get called the MF, chicks get the big C as I tell them who's F'n phone it is etc. etc.

Most times I do it for fun.  Sometimes I'm actually mad.  Then they really get it.
