Ive been looking around, but what seems to be the best ps2 emulator out there so far?

Unless I am comletely in the dark, there aren't any that are actually playable.

thats the one thats furthest along.  i actually helped to some degree in its development  ;)
it doesn't actually really play games yet.  best case scenario is that it loads the game and you get to see some of it before it crashes.

Looks like PCSX2 has been making some major advancements in the last few months, take a look at screenshots of Devil My Cry running on the latest closed beta:

Im sure they can get some lower games running like Namco Musem, Fantavision, running on top of the line hardware.
