27" TV questions
« on: November 01, 2004, 02:22:11 pm »
Is it possible to use Happs 27" Monitor bezel with a 27" TV?
what about if I am extending a cabinet based on Mortal Kombat by 2" (width)?

Also with a computer-TV setup, how should we go about regarding TV power? Should we leave the TV on all the time?
If there is no incoming signal to a TV left on will it conserve power like a PC monitor? That'd be best imo if it's possible

Yes it is possible but it depends on the TV model.  Also, you will probably get the best results if you remove the TV's case.  I was able to use a Happ bezel with my sharp 27" TV.

No - most TVs do not go to sleep like a computer monitor.  It is best to power them off when they're not in use.
