Naked in Baghdad

Just finished Naked in Bagdad.

Good read.  Anne Gerrels was one of 16 journalists in Iraq who did not leave when war became imminent (she works for NPR).  Every major television network pulled out, but she stayed -- right through Shock and Awe.  You will learn A LOT about Iraq and what a sonofabitch Saddam was and how Orwellian his government was.  In addition you will come away with a pretty clear sense how unprepared we were to deal with Baghdad once it had been taken.
