Weird WG D9200 annoyance
« on: September 14, 2002, 07:48:55 pm »
Anybody else have the 27" SVGA monitor from wells-gardner?  Does the onscreen menu pop-up by itself everynow and then?
I'm using XP, windows commandline mame, and game launcher.
The menu goes away with a single press of the 'mode' button, so this problem is more of an annoyance.  No real pattern to it - just pops up by itself ...freaky :P

I believe this is discussed on the wells gardner site.

Look at http://www.wellsgardner.com/wellsgardner31/catalog.cfm?
dest=itempg&itemid=862&secid=18&linkon=section&linkid=18

If the link doesn't work it's under technical info and troubleshooting. The doc file mentions something about the menu popping up if I recall.

MENU APPEARS:

problem = R106 or  RIBBON CABLE

CHANGE R106 TO 15K

KEEP RIBBON CABLE AWAY FROM POWER SUPPLY AREA
