D9200 initial setup questions
« on: October 16, 2004, 04:20:14 pm »
Hi all,

I picked up a D9200 in August and just got my MAME system up and running this weekend, yeh! The images are great, despite some convergence problems, but I have a few of questions I was hoping people could help me out with:

1) the image is slightly rotated -  can I correct this using the 'Rastor Rotation - ROAT' pot on the main board?

2) I read Kevin' s recent advice at Retroblast about recording the Color Gain and Color Bias setting using the Factory Menu. Using the instructions included in the document available at Retroblast, I easily found the 'Color Gain' settings, but I couldn't find the 'Color Bias' menu. One thing I did notice was that the document  from Retroblast shows a factory menu version of 1.16 and mine is 1.21 - could it be that the Color Bias settings have been removed in the new version?

3) Can convergence issues be corrected? If so, is this one of those things best left to the pros?

Thanks all,
Gord.
