I've just been doing a little research on the great SNES eumulator for the PS2 known as SNES Station but I haven't been seeing anything about DVD support...

Know I know what you're thinking, "why the heck would you need that much space for SNES games?"  Well I have the entire collection of SNES roms and US roms weigh in at 1.03 gigs which is just a little bit too much for a CD-R.  Yes I could do it on 2 disks and yes I could weed out the games that I don't inted to play but I'd prefer to just get EVERYTHING on 1 disk...

So before I waste a dvd-r, will my PS2 read everything correctly from the dvd or am I stuck with CD-Rs?

you need to make the image correctly.  i am unsure about the details for a dvd image as compared to a cd, but its supposed to be possible, in theory.  read the cd burning guide, which was written by yours truly ;), to get an idea of the required layout of a ps2 disc.
that being said, why cant you use that funky hdloader of yours instead?

I read somewhere that a specific emulator would not read from the HD whilst opening roms.  Not too sure if it was SNES Station but either way it doesn't mater because you can't combine disks into one game on the ps2...

Ok so I'm trying to figure out this GoodSNES thing.

I've got the program and I've figgured out how to run it sorta but I can't seem to figgure out how to remove all the (U) & [!] things from the game names.

Can someone please explaing what to do it moron terms?

SNES on the PS2 with SNES Station leaves something to be desired...  I tried DKC, things looked blurry I tried MK, the game was choppy!

Is SNES emulation better on the XBOX?  I may just have to go and get that modded now.  Or maybe I'll just make an emulation station with wireless controllers and TV out.

the XBOX is a better emu platform altogether.  although i am pretty sure that at least PGEN has direct harddrive support.  not sure if hiryu implemented that in snes-station as i have not played with it for some time.

the xbox is an AMAZING emulation platform.

It actually forced me to drop the idea of putting all the console emulators on my cabinet, and just storing them on the Xbox.. I'd rather play console games with a console controller anyways!
