Cocktail cab conversion
« on: October 13, 2004, 08:28:09 pm »
Well, I picked this up for free from Brian Duel, ended up tipping him $30 for it. Worth every penny, and then some.  Finally works, after a year and half.

Thanks also go out to 3dmacman for his artwork, Oscar for his speaker hack, and of course bob-roberts for the parts.

I still need to reprint the artwork, a tad bigger. Ended up with white bars on the side.

And finally, my slowly brewing arcade

Looks good...and very nice Game Room!
Do you know what the cab was originally?  Looks like a Midway cab but the control panels look a little different and the coin door doesn't look like the typical midway coin door.

It was a Stern Super cobra, but all the paint was flaking.

My gameroom consists of the sit-down MAME, Tapper, non-working asteroids and tempest, and then my new Taito cab.
I also have Star Wars and a Joust mame cab back home.
