Steering with my DC and Interact concept 4
« on: October 06, 2004, 08:20:37 pm »
Been putting a DC into a stand up cabinet, during "testing", I stink.   >:(

It feels like the wheel doesn't hold me back enough.  I've been testing with 4x4 evo, and unless I'm really careful, I tend to serpentine throught the track, left, right, left, right, etc.

Is there a better steering wheel maybe?  One that's harder to turn?

It is a cool game, though I wish it would vibrate.

This has more to do with the game's physics than the wheel.  Try Ferarri F355 first and see if its any better with turning response.

I thought most of the games were like this, and I'm and excellent driver  ;D

I'll try to find that game.  Thanks for the reply.

I have a concept 4 and can tell you it works flawlessly in Daytona. 4x4 Evo (incidentally the 1st online game I ever played...online) has very touchy controls. Try a stock truck if you haven't already. It doesn't help that that game cannot be mapped properly to actually USE the C4's pedals and such.....that or Crazy Taxi. I really want an adaptor to use that crazy thing on my XBox as it's the best racing wheel I've ever used...

I have the Daytona game, haven't tried it yet because I'm still building the darn cabinet.

I hope to have the thing together this weekend.

Thanks for the reply.
