Lan Party Games -- Need a list of prefered games

Threw my first Lan party to much success last weekend and we want to make it a regular event, so we need suggestions on games to play.

We did Unreal tourney for about 6 hours.  I just picked up need for speed underground for next time.

Only limitation are the lower end PC's so we have to play to our lowest common denominator.

Low end PC's are 1 gihtz processors with G2 video cards and about 256 RAM.

Any suggestions for good games, preferable different genres like multiplayer sports titles.

Quake III Arena  Loads of fun to play...  even more fun with the EXTREME mod.

I have not attended any lans for several years, but I used to love playing Alien Vs Predator 2 on a LAN.

Half Life always rocked but we also used to play some more strategy based games (Age of Empires & Civilization II come to mind).

what about gauntlet style games, you know multiplayer co-op hack adn slash games

http://www.getmedieval.com/ this game is supposed to have LAN support and I've heard a lot of good things about it.  Also the PC version of Halo would be a great one to play.

No one has mentioned Serious Sam or the sequel.  Holy crap, those are both a blast.  And when you get tired of killing one another you can play in co-op mode, that is a blast!
