Shikigami No Shiro 2 (PC/Win) free demo

Just found this link.  Its a downloadable demo of the vertical shooter Shikigami No Shiro 2 for PC/Win.  The system requirements are as follows (from the website):

Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP
PentiumIII/1GHz minimum - Pentium4/2.4GHz prefered
GeForce 2/RADEON(GeForce/FX)
DirectX 8.1

I tried it on my laptop, and the graphics and menus were pretty much all screwed up.  The GeForce/Radeon card is a hard requirement.  Its also all in Japanese

damn that demo was awesome, i cant wait to play the full game. if this wasnt coming out in january for 10$ i would definately buy the korean version right now for 50$.... must resist..


I just bought mobile light force 2 on gamestop real cheap. i heard that mobile light force 2 = castle of shikigami 1. is this true? cause i was looking at the japanese castle I, and it looks different


edit again: i answered my own question. they are the same game, its just the american packaging looks 100% different (and horrible) compared to the japanese. upon getting some better quality screen shots i figured it out

Mobile Light Force 2 is garbage (see the dreamcast naomi thread for more).  Shikigami No Shiro 2 has been out for the dreamcast for awhile now.  There is also PS2 and Xbox verisons available I believe.

i noticed what is wither an AI flaw or a hidden message of non violence.
its possible to clear both stages withotu ever firing off a single shot(except bosses of course). in fact it is signifigantly easier to do so as almost all the enemies do not fire unless fired upon..
only medium sized ships and bossesfire unprovoked..

thats really weird. obviously its better to shoot anyway cause thats how you get points and score is what hardcore shmuppers are all about. but thats still just weird
