drag and drop maintenance of mamewah lists
« on: October 04, 2004, 12:47:39 pm »
is there a utility that allows drag and drop maintenance of mamewah games list.

rather than generate a list using filters, i would like to maintain which games appear on a list on a adhoc game by game basis.

eg drag a game from a list of all games, and drop it on the desired list. and also allow maintenance of the ordering etc?

Just use the MAMEwah menu.

Make a custom list, scroll through your main list, and every time you find a ROM you want just "Add Game to Custom List."

None taken wchadd (heh), it can be a pain adding games manually in MW if you want to do more than a few...

I felt that way too, but really, once you get the MAMEwah meny system down, you can do it in a flash.

I have a full ROM set, and it takes me about a half hour to recomplile my faves list (300 games!) evey time I screw up and delete it trying to resort or something. =)

Is there a one button add to list? I thought I saw one in the older version, did it get removed, or was I just hallucinating? :)

IIRC it's "A".  You get a drop down of all your lists, and you scroll down to whatever list you want to add the game to.
