Displaying catver info in Mamewah
« on: September 30, 2004, 08:30:12 am »
I am using mamewah 1.51 and have my layout setup to show catver info.  I have placed my catver file in my mame folder and I have the emulator ini file pointing properly to my catver location.  For whatever reason I can not get my catver info to display in mamewah.

Anyone have any clues as to why it won't work?

Couple of things:

1) Did you enter the whole path including the filename?  eg:

catver_ini_file                           c:\mame\catver.ini

2) Did you refresh the main list since you entered the catver filename?

I thought this was just me...Now i feel better
I have the same problem... i have the path set to my catver.ini correctly, i edited my skin to add the catver info window.
Then i've refreshed the game list...still nothing showing in the catver.ini section :(

Ditto here as well. What version of MAME is eveyone else running, if that matters in any way? I'm running NoNameMAME. I'd love to get this working as well.

Refreshing the game list did the trick.  Thanks Minwah

me three .... catver is definetly there, rom folder vs dat file is there, and path to dat file is set (created from the command line like ur instructions)

When i refresh main list - no problems.  Go to a custom list, hit generate list, I get no options and it makes a list of every game (does filter out clones, but nothing else)

This is a bug - should be fixed next time...

I am not sure about the catver problem - it definately works OK for me.  Just make sure you have the main list selected when generating the list ('Generate List' not 'Generate Filtered List...').
