Best Emulators to use for Mamewah?
« on: September 27, 2004, 12:29:23 pm »
I know it's subjective, but I need somewhere to start here...

I need the following emulators to be run through mamewah (prefereably easy to set up :) I'm NOT asking for any roms here. I'm not currently using mamewah 1.5

Intellivision
Atari 2600
Nintendo
SNES
Genesis
SMS
Colecovision

Yeah, I stupidly check that site AFTER I made the post, lol.

I DO still need Intellivision and Coleco though.

Of course, playing intellivision with a mame setup might be harder than it's worth anyways, still need it :)

I think that some of the stuff on the screenshotarchive.com web site is outta date.  I believe that zsnes has added [Esc] key functionality to its command line setup.  So you can get the latest offical release of zsnes instead of the slightly older version hosted on ssa.    Some of the others may have also added this in with recent updates.

Using the stuff that they listed is not a bad idea, but it may be worth checking all the official sites and see if you can use the latest release.

If you can't be a good example at least try to be a horrible reminder.
