I personally wish people would stop posting political stuff here. This isn't the right place. I like to find fun and quirky stuff relating to video games in this forum....lately it has been overrun by political opinions and it's not much rfun anymore.

Don't worry. Once the election is over, everything will be back to.... I'm thinking normal but it doesn't feel right to describe this forum like that.

Dartful, not all of those debating you are 13 year olds.  I am a few years older than that.  

I agree with people that this forum will calm down after the election.  Which will be nice.  We can devote more time to BYOCB  (build your our colostomy bag) and what not.

Can we have a new Whining forum for people to complain about political threads not having their own forum?

See, the problem is, I have a mental condition that FORCES me to compulsively enter every thread I see and read all the posts inside, even when the subject of the thread makes it absolutely clear what types of posts the thread is going to contain.  I'd much prefer it if the Everything Else forum only contained posts like this:


Subject:  CHECK THIS OUT!!!!  FUNNIEST THING EVER.......

So I can spend 10 minutes downloading something that ends up being among the least funniest things ever.  These types of posts should be the ONLY things allowed in the EVERYTHING ELSE forum.

Here's an idea  

Put all politial threads in one sticky?  Similar to the IPod threads??
