NES Emulator - FCEU vs. VirtuaNES
« on: September 25, 2004, 02:55:21 am »
I'm using FCEU.  Any pros or cons for VirtuaNES over FCEU?
If you can't be a good example at least try to be a horrible reminder.

Are these better than Nesticle?  I haven't run an emulator in a long time for that but I was using Nesticle as the better one available a while ago.

VirtuaNes is the best in my opinion.  Yes Nesticle is definately NOT the best.  Hasn't been for a while.  VirtuaNes has got all the options needed for an arcade cabinet.  Commandline support, customizable hotkeys, etc...

I just tried FCEU and it was seeming fine until I loaded Bubble Bobble and it was like an old CGA game - wrong colors, pink everywhere....I'll try VirtuaNES next.

I have never used FCEU b/c I have had nothing but good experiences with VirtuaNES.

FWIW I'm using FCEU and I've had no problems.  Never tried VirtuaNES, but I have heard of it.
