Lazarus Visual Pinball Question...
« on: September 06, 2002, 07:45:25 am »
Howard,

The docs are a bit unclear on this topic with the VP wrapper -- I did download the CRC checker to have it rename my tables, as Lazarus is finding none of them, but I'm not sure exactly where to put everything now.  I have Visual Pinball in d:\pinball, tables in d:\pinball\tables, and I have vp-launch.exe also in d:\pinball\tables.  the DAT file with the wrapper is in list generator\dats.  However, which folder do I unzip the CRC check utility into to run it?  I've tried the dats folder and my tables folder, and the CRC checker doesn't seem to want to rename my tables at all.

Am I missing something?

You can install the crc checker anywhere... if you notice it has a folder view on the left... navigate to your tables directory.  Oh and btw just like any other vp launcher you must unzip your tables.. in other words no zip files just vpt files.

Also that data dragon dat isn't completely new, so it could be that your tables aren't in the list.  I would suggest that you use izarams dat maker to make a dat based on your tables directory.  I will have it linked on my site soon but I have been slacking off. :)
