3DNA Desktop v1.1
« on: September 14, 2004, 10:33:11 am »
Greetz all....

I found this very cool interface to replace the standard XP windows interface in PC Magazine.

I think it may be fun to add to the old MAME cab.....

Enjoy!

Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?

Looks like fun. I dunno how well it would work in a cab, but you should consider it

That would be a sweet if you had to "wander an arcade" to launch MAME for a specific cabinet.  You could model a bunch of 3D cabs, meanwhile you can play relevant MP3s/etc in the background while you move around the vitual arcade.

Wow...this really got me thinking now...
Still in the collecting parts and ideas phase of cabinet building.

I take it I missed something.  Did somebody do that already?

It's sorta cool to screw around with for a bit, but in general usage it becomes old quickly.

The purpose of a GUI is to make things relatively quick and easy.  3DNA is not really either.

If you can't be a good example at least try to be a horrible reminder.
