I apologise to some extent for removing stuff from the menu's...but I decided it was best for me to do it this way because:
a) I got countless queries from people who just edited files and messed things up even tho if they had done so from the menu the menu would have corrected (or indicated) the mistake,
b) it was a pain having to make each option change take effect immediately,
c) there are now so many options/settings that making the menu intuitive was near impossible (many users found it difficult even in 0.97).
Also while setting up in the menu was handy for some options, it still usually meant getting a keyboard out for entering paths etc. I kindof felt that if you need a keyboard you might as well just edit ini files

My argument as to why this is better for you guys is that once configured you now never have to do it again...I know this has helped me with my cab immensely

Demon-Seed: You *can* add/remove to custom lists, and filter from the menu - look in Games List Options

SpamMe: I suppose I hadn't really though how difficult it might be on a TV (my arcade monitor is pretty sharp!). Sounds like you have it covered but for the most part you could even configure on another PC (I often do this on my desktop and copy the files over).
