no kidding--so what does the 2 finger salute mean to a brit anyways?  It looks like the sign for "peace" to my eyes (just facing the other direction)  these cultural exchanges are quite interesting  ;D
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

Too the Brit's, A 2 finger "V" with palm facing you is similar to the single finger in NA.  And 2 finger "V" with the palm facing outward is Peace.

A) "choki" (scissors from rock paper scissors, or "V" for victory) is a very popular pose when people take pictures in Japan, you see it all over.

and

B) the palm is not out because they are trying to show the glove product the article is written about and if the hand was turned around you wouldn't see it.
