individual game.ini files for no virt rolling
« on: September 05, 2004, 04:13:00 am »
I've used mamewah's INI resolution tool to set all the indiviual INI files for each game so my monitor doesn't roll like crazy.

Quick question, do I have to put all those .INI files in the root of the mame directory or can I put them somewhere else?  I'd looooove to put them somewhere else, like in a INI directory would be cool.

  thanks all!

Bung 'em in \mame\ini .  Then edit your mame.ini file to have:

inipath                 ini

...in it :)

Sweet!  Now the root of my mame directory is nice and tidy-like :-)

 thanks Min!

Almost done with my cab!   Gutta still work on getting the filters working in mamewah (haven't tried yet with any real effort), any tips on using filters?  It probably explains it in the readme though ;-)
I also have to finish up the details and finish wiring my CP...  Should be done tonight sometime and playing away!

Then I'll work on setting up Z26, Nesticle (or whatever NES emu works with MameWah, Atari emu, etc :-)  WOOHOO!!!  I just loooove long weekends (Monday's a bank holiday here in the states)

thanks again MinWah!  When are you expecting the next version to be released, I can't wait for the movie support ;-)

Take a look at www.screenshotarchive.com - there is a nice video showing how to do custom lists.

Surely not every Monday in the US is bank holiday?!  Is it?

Hopefully this week for the next release (toes crossed)...
