Urk--lost XInput (dial/trackball) in 0.86?
« on: September 04, 2004, 01:05:15 am »
OK, running xmame.x11 in 0.86, compiled using the same options as my previous version--BAM!  No trackball controls or spinner!

The weird thing is that xmame is seeing them (gives me a message about how many buttons/axes it sees, plus I added some printf()s to check, and yes they are generating events).

So I'm starting to suspect something in my configurations somehow.  Any idea how I could check this?  Did something change between 0.84 and 0.86 regarding configfiles that I should know about?

Thanks-->VPutz

No, actually the problem is that I am an EEDIOT and forgot to delete all my old .cfg files.  Hmm.  Problem sorta fixed then, except now the spinner is way too sensitive (and can get backspin, which it never did before).

Weird.
