How do I boot with an mpg movie?

Is there any way play an mpg at startup then load Mame? I currently have startup of Mame32.  Just thought it would be cool to start up with a Mame movie.

You could create a batch file that plays the movie and then loads Mame. You may need to find a third party utility that will make the system wait the required length of time before starting Mame, otherwise it will load straight after the movie player.

All of the windows front-ends support intro movies too.

I do this using a command-line in my startup that launches ZoomPlayer (http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml).

ZoomPlayer accepts movie filenames as parameters in the command line.  It will play the file with its last used setings and then close.  I like this because I can play that short 15 second animated MAME logo at boot.
