Where to buy pre-hacked DC pads?
« on: August 28, 2004, 12:46:54 pm »
Hey guys, Ive done a lot of browsing through the forums, and can only find this place for pre-hacked DC pads.
http://www.cosmicbreaks.com/images/arcade_stick/index.html

Are there any other places besides there to buy some? Thanks.

DC pads seem to be very hard to come at used game stores like gamestop and eb.  However, I just got 2 sega pads off ebay for $10 to replace the 2 I hacked.  I would definately recommend trying to do it yourself.  It really is not too difficult.  Read up on how to solder to a circuit board.

Skid, I'll have to check but I may have a few sega pads to spare if you can't find them anywhere else (I stocked up like mad when TRU was clearing them out).  Once I get my new soldering Iron, I'd even be willing to hack a pair for you.  But the advantage to doing it yourself is that you know the system and can diagnose problems easier.
