Characters for side art
« on: August 27, 2004, 06:02:35 pm »
I am trying to design my own sideart. I want to have a bunch of acual arcade characters in a sort of college. (kind of like the 90 in 1 marquee.) I have looked at local arcade and they only have a few ingame pics of characters....Is there a website that has a bunch of them? Preferably around 50.

It's very easy to create and use ingame shots yourself.

If you can get screenshots of the characters ingame, those can be blown up infinitely without quality loss in Photoshop by increasing the image size using "nearest neighbor" instead of the default. Just have to increase the size using multiples of 4 (or the "pixels" will get all weird when they are scaled up.

YOu should save them as GIFs, so you don't introduce JPG artifacts.

Id really like to see the finished product.....  theres not enough collage artwork of actual ingame graphics.

What i really want is a snapshot of Ken giving Blanka a dragon punch while blanka is in his headroll thing hehe
