Cap Kit for Sanyo 20EZ Failed...

To make a long story short, I tried out a cap kit on a Sanyo 20EZ in a Donkey Kong that had scrambled video (kinda looked like horizontal scrolling).  Anyway, it failed (still exhibits the same symptoms).  Anyone know what I should try next?  Any help would be appreciated because I have no idea what to do next...

On a lighter note, I got my MAME machine up and running this weekend.  It's ugly as sin, but it sure is fun to play a couple of oldies at home...

If you have a arcade monitor in your mame setup, try hooking up the sanyo to it. (It will have screwed up colors, but you should be able to see a pic.)
That will tell you if the problem is with the monitor or pcb.

My MAME setup has a 21" VGA CRT.    Looks great in the MAME machine, though...

There are several "Non-Polarized" (a.k.a. Bi-polar) electrolytic capacitors that are NOT included in the capkits that are failing like crazy now due to age.

Not included in some kits are:

C411    4.7 uf @ 25 volts "Bi-Polar"

C162    4.7 uf @ 25 volts "Bi-Polar"

C202    220 uf @ 16 volts

Check C201 100 uf @ 16 volts (was originally 10 uf @ 50 volts).

Ok, I guess I'll be hunting down a multimeter to check that out.  Will let you know how it goes.  (Yes, those were not replaced, by the way.)
