arcadeOS does not work with ADVmame .84 or greater....

Yes, I made the bold statement that ArcadeOS 2.5.1 does not work under DOS with anything higher than ADVmame .83.  ADVmame .84 and above simply does not work.

No ROM list is generated, period.  ArcadeOS 2.5.1 relys upon the XML2INFO program that simply does not run in DOS... How are you supposed to get a ROM list while runnign ArcadeOS on a DOS platform (where you're supposed to run it really) and get a ROM list by using a Windows only program?

YES, I've switched the Legacy option to the proper one and followed all the advise in the other message threads....

If someone has actually gotten ArcadeOS 2.5.1 to work with ADV mame .84 or higher, let me know what you had to sacrifice to the computer gods in order to get it to work.

ArcadeOS 2.5.1 and ADVmame .83 work fine without issues....
